Today when I tried to do a full site backup I was presented with this message:

Actually, I would submit a ticket asking if that's supposed to be the limit. If it is, I would then ask if there's a good alternative.
What I'd do first, probably, is make a zip file through cPanel's file manager and download it. You'll grab all your files, even though it won't be a full cPanel backup.
