You guys are so patient...VPS rocks!

Coming from a shared account in '08 & with my site slowly growing in traffic it was time to upgrade. As scared as I was not knowing much about what to expect with VPS (only read bits and pieces I understood), bit the bullet, hit the purchase button and prayed everything will go well.

I knew from the beginning it will take some time; not only at HG's side with the actual setup and propagation over the net but with only a basic networking experience the learning curve would be pretty big. AND it was! Just learning WHM has been a bit overwhelming . So many options, configuration and reading here and other free sources on running a semi-dedicated server took few days to grasp the concept which seems like a tip of the iceberg.

All I can say is, HG tech support including the Linux admins and people who have responded to my goodness 15+ tickets (more?) have been professional and so patient. As a business owner I truly believe customer service wins over any price and service/product a company has to offer. The best part is Hostgator has it all. A true role model other companies (small or big) can definitely learn!

I'm very certain my business will stay with Hostgator for many years to come. I don't mind learning (and trying not to bombard with tickets!) this VPS account but knowing if I'm stuck or pressed the wrong button I can fall back and get help any time of the day.

You guys don't get enough credit, I haven't rated all the responses but trying to as much as possible; for those I missed thank you again so much for the support and keep up the superb support!
