you do not have permission to access

Hello,
New member here. I made a dedicated server purchase with HostGator. Im setting up my server and site and I was trying to do a search here on the forums and it told me >> you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Why can i not do a search on the forums for a fix to a problem i'm having ?

Have you tried logging out and then logging back into the forum? I would try that first and then you might try sending an email to wesley (at) hostgator.com and ask if he can check your forum access if it is not working. If you have a specific question about your server you can ask it here and someone should be able to help.

Thanks for information. I did try logging off and back on. I'll try and email wesley. I'm new to all this having a dedicated server and setting it up. This is something I'm doing on my days off, I'm a Firefighter/Medic. But it's been fun so far. I was trying to find out about installation not functioning correctly, it said >> MySQL Strict Mode is not support ? Not sure how to fix this.
