Thought I would share my experiences for others considering HG.

I came here a little over a year ago, after experiencing having tried roughly a dozen hosts or so before in the several years I've been building websites and hosting for my clients. I'd struggled with blacklisting, slow servers, from non-repsonsive to downright antagonistic support, on and on at a number of hosts, both big and small. So my priority at this point was clear: I needed a host with good support. That was the bottom line. Bad hosting support meant headaches I didn't want.

Being cautious, I moved a personal domain here for a couple of months to get the lay of the land before inflicting upon my customers. I was pleased with the service and I got a managed dedi about a year ago.

Since that time, overall, I've been quite happy with the service I've gotten as HG. While I will readily admit I've been ticked off a time or two, and have experienced some frustrating moments, perserverance has always left me with an end result I was satisfied with.

Support responsiveness has varied during that time, and at points, HG's growing pains have been evident. However, it was always clear throughout that HG maintains a commitment to serve their clients as well as they can; they apologize when approriate, and consistently seem to try to improve their processes and do right by their customers. And that, I cannot fault anyone for. Darned good business model, if you ask me.

In particular, HG's honesty and openness in dealing with issue impressed me, and continues to. I think HG (and Brent) deserve the success they've attained, and I'm glad to see it. I readily recommend HG to others.
