Default Yahoo! DNS Settings HELP!!!

Hi,

I have just registered for a plan few days ago, but i have made some mistake on my domain so i registered for a new one in Yahoo! Domains. In the domain control panel, I have made the following settings:

(my nameservers are ns269.hostgator.com & ns270.hostgator.com)

http://ns269.hostgator.com/~iromedia/dns.jpg

Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

should be. If you do not host your domain in yahoo the only thing that matters is the domain name servers and they should be set to the HG ones.

I've never registered domain at Yahoo but if you have updated your DNS servers they still are being reported on the internet to be the old ones and the last update to be on Date: 17-Jan-2006. So maybe you have to wait more time for them to propagate in the internet....

Also, it is iromedia.net not ironmedia.net. Please Note. So the whois should be:

Whois lookup for iromedia.net.

The nameservers are correctly set in Yahoo, but seems there is no Zone file for that domain in HG.
Did you add that domain already?

It looks like that the server has the entry for the .com. I'd be happy to change this for you to from iromedia.com to iromedia.net.

If you would, please create a sales ticket through http://support.hostgator.com/ or email sales@hostgator.com directly with the subject "attn: chad".

When you made your order in HG did you use domain iromedia.com?
As GatorChad says above there is a zone file for the iromedia.com domain, not for the iromedia.net domain.

If you want to switch from iromedia.com to iromedia.net you should do as GatorChad suggest above.
