OK, I've done a quick search on here, and only found one post that mentions YaBB, and you stated that it is a resource hog.

My question is, do you allow YaBB (perl, flatfile version) to run on your servers? - I'm actually a developer on the YaBB project, and need to run YaBB - I am seriously considering moving hosts from One & One to you guys (mainly because of your imagemagick support), but I need to know if I can run YaBB on your servers.

I have a very large site (http://www.vegetablerevolution.com) - I pull around 15Gig of bandwidth, and have 1.5 mil page requests a month. it is mostly just the forum, and I use YaBB as the base for all the other scripts that are running the site.

I do hope that you are not one of these hosts that will point blank refuse to even listen to people who want to host a YaBB board, despite the great advancements in optimization that we have made recently. You seem like good people, so I hope you allow it ;D

Also, while I'm at it, do you have a seperate cgi-bin directory, or do you allow execution of .pl files from anywhere in the webspace (one and one have this feature, and it is very conveiniet ) - final question, do you have mod_perl installed?

Thanks in advance for your response.

We allow yab however any forum no matter what type it is pulling that kind of bandwidth / page views is going to be HEAVY in both ram and cpu usage resources.

Your best bet for hosting that would be semi dedicated solution. To big for shared hosting environment.

Although you are one of the developers of yabb. So how about you give us a message on aim icq or even msn? We might want to work out some type of deal with you. =)

Cgi scripts can go inside the cgi bin or out.

yeah, I would like a dedicated/semi dedicated solution - it's just that kind of hosting is a little too expensive for my tastes

Thanks for the info - the more I read about you on your site, the more I like you guys! - I'll drop you a line on ICQ
