I'm considering moving my current website to this host and I wondered if you allowed YaBB 2 forums on your servers?
Thanks |

Yep, it should be within the cgi-bin not scgi-bin.

Strictly for general info and particularly for those involved in site transfers, it may be useful to note that scgi-bin configurations will be encountered when moving sites from certain other hosting services.
Some hosting services include a cPanel option for creating scgi-bin as a "special" password protected directory where Perl and other CGI resources can be located and run only by users with login credentials. In fact, it is totally redundant as the equivalent "security" can be accomplished with a password protected subdirectory under cgi-bin. In this case, it may be necessary to move existing files (if any) currently located in /home/username/public_html/scgi-bin to the user's cgi-bin directory or a subdirectory thereunder, either protected or not as desired. |
