I plan on setting up a blogging network using wordpress-mu

-are wildcard subdomains allowed
- how much RAM is available per account

What kind of support will I get for installation of the initial code on your server?

I am interested in your reseller hosting as well. I have read that you do not support for wildcard dns for resellers is this true?

I do a lot of web site work for a specific industry and want to offer them a unique blogging network in addition to providing them web sites? Is this possible?

I have tried to get answers from your live chat recently and was so discouraged by that salesmen that I actually gave up the idea for the last couple of weeks but I still want to do this and hostgator keeps getting the highest recommendations. Can you help me with these questions?

Will I be able to set up payment to you via a paypal account?

I have wpmu 2.7.1 set up on one of the domains on my reseller account, working just fine with wildcard subdomains. Tech support setup the wildcard domain, but I understand you can do it yourself as well through the control panel.

Aside from that I believe you will be pretty much on your own with installing wpmu (other than consulting the forums here and at wpmu). But I found the install went smooth and easy ... even though it was my first time using wpmu.

You will have to check with sales as to how much RAM and the paypal question.

I'll try to break this down as best I can so it doesn't get confusing

- We can setup wildcard subdomains no matter what type of account you have with us

- Per our TOS you may not exceed 25% of the server's resources for 90 seconds. http://www.hostgator.com/tos.shtml

- I am not sure what you mean by "unique blogging network" so I cannot give you a 100% answer on this. You are able to use 99% of common blogging scripts on our network.

- Yes, we do accept paypal one time payments and subscriptions.

I can vouch for that as I am doing the same thing.
