Default WordPress for Beginners setup

Their page offers what looks like a really good setup for WordPress blogs hosted by several providers, including Host Gator.

Does anyone here have any feedback on just how good it is? I'd welcomeboth from users and staff.

And if I should postin a different area, please advise and I'll do so (admins: feel free to move it!)

thanks!

Where is "their page?" Don't understand what you mean.

I agree. WP is almost idiot proof. Although the idiots keep trying.

Thanks to all for the feedback! Since I seem to have caused some confusion, I'll try to remedy it (sorry!).

Go here:
HTML Code:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/
And towards the top of the page hit the orange box "Free WordPress Setup". Can't miss the statement on what they do.

So if anyone was put off by my initial vagueness....

Incicdentally, I exchanged some email with them. All of what they do is pretty benevolent and I view as a timesaver. I.e. kill the account with admin as login, set up the SQL database. Nothing I'd want to undo, but nothing which can't be undone. I view it as a timesaver.

Feel free if anyone wants to amend previous comments, ormake a new one!

tnks!

Ahh, now I understand your question. But it leaves me with little feedback, since I wasn't aware of this service. I don't see any harm in it, but WP really is a snap to install, and I'm not talking about Fantastico. Adding widgets and plugins is easy as well. Even if you go with their service, I'd suggest you still learn about WP yourself. Even if you have the auto club, it's a good idea to know how to change your own tire, just in case.

I love your auto analogy!
