Won't install

I am wondering if whmcs works on reseller accts or what?

I uploaded all the whmcs files and folders to my main hosting domain and cmod'd everything as recommended. However, when I try to go to http://mysite.ext/whmcs/install/install.php I get redirected to http://mysite.ext/whm and asked to type in my username and passsword, which only takes me to whm.

NOTE: I tried installing WHMCS on another domain, and it installed fine, but wouldn't run saying something about the IP or domain didn't match, so then I tried installing on my main domain.

Any ideas?

Nope, that's why HG has decided to give it to all it's resellers!

Yes it works in a reseller account, actually you could install it in a shared account too.
DO NOT chmod anything, HG servers run phpSuExec and if you chmod PHP files/directories to 777 it will NOT work.

I think I know what happened. I tried to install it on a different domain (on the same server) as my main reseller domain. When I checked the license information it showed the valid domain as myresellerdomain.com but the valid path pointed to the directory on the other domain.

I submitted a ticket to WHMCS to get the path changed.
