Why no burst ram?

Hi, I started with a HG shared package, then moved to ServInt when no VPS was available.

It's good to see VPS solutions now available, and wanted to see if Host Gator provided a comparable or better plan to my current plan at ServInt.

I'm currently on a Signature VPS plan, which is $90 a month (with cpanel), and it seems the most similar plan is a Level 5 VPS from HG for 95 a month (before the pretty much necessary cPanel). The Level 5 HG seems to provide a good bit more base RAM, but from what I've learned so far, there is no Burst ram available on HG VPS plans.

I get occasional short term spikes when highlighted content is released, and the extra burst of ram (Up to 3gb on the ServInt plan) seems to keep things somewhat usable.

I do not know the exact processing speed of my servint plan, so its hard for me to do an exact comparison of both plans, but the lack of burst ram seems like a deal breaker to me.

Are there any plans to offer Burst Ram to be competitive with the plans from ServInt?

vps that require up to 3gb ram.. would be very costly. i would suggest look into dedicated server with more performance.
