No emails, no phone calls, I owe no money, yet my account has been suspended
Just when I thought Hosgator was the one I was looking for, this garbage turns up and I now have a page on my site. People will now think I haven`t paid my bill. I`ve never run any bad scripts, my site always stays within the bandwidth limits, in fact it`s a new site.

Ok, got somewhere on this.
I joined Hostgator on October 20th (or there abouts) and paid my first $9.95. A week or so later I paid another $9.95 as I was going away on vacation and wanted to make sure my account would be good. This meant I was fully paid upto Dec 20th. I asked that my account be changed to a quarterly on Dec20th, and went away on vacation in the knowledge my account is fine. What happens, my account gets suspended this afternoon for an overdue bill even though I am paid upto Dec 20th. Just to make me more annoyed, I never recieved one damn phone call or email to say my account would be suspended. No nothing.

I'm a reseller.
Last September one of my client accout as been suspended by hostgator admin reason "system crash". I don't know what happened. I asked many many time by email to restore the account and they do this after 48 hours. They told me this account has been flooded. It could be possible, but I don't know. This is my experience about suspended accounts.... Fabio Vaona |

I am somewhat offput by the billing notice I received.
Maybe someone should send out an invoice BEFORE the day the thing is due so that they can avoid the snarky "YOU HAVE 10 DAYS TO PAY THIS" tone of the first invoice. Sounds like the whole billing system could use an overhaul. |

First let me apologize if in fact any miscommunication was experienced on your end. After catching this post I immediately referenced your account and can assure you, what we discussed still stands. Your account is in good standing, as it always has been . Your up for renewal on Dec. 20, at which time our system will issue your invoice notice. Your domain name maritimesweather.com is also appearing fine and I don't see any suspension listed for it on your server.Should you still be unsure as to your account status or wish for me to further assist you, I'll be happy to do so. Thanks Tim, however it was suspended for several hours, it took several phone calls to get it reinstated. I also got the impression the whole issue was my fault!! So I was not pleased with that.
There obviously was an issue at your end (not you but HG), someone made a mistake and my site was pulled Never mind, it has been back up and running for several days now. As I said before, what got me pissed was the fact no one called or emailed me. The plug was just pulled. I hope this doesn`t happen again. There is nothing worse than a website with a `contact billing sign` stuck on the index page.
