Why I love HostGator...

I am a long time HostGator customer, and I feel that it's my turn to put in my two cent's worth! .... They're amazing!

More specifically, their support is what is amazing. When I have a problem, the live chat support is always available (and even during a Cyclone/Tornado I was able to get the critical support needed to solve my problems!) Anywho. I digress.

Because I love the live support so much, I decided to do a little experiment. I went to an online forum where smaller web-hosts can post links to get some visitors. I chose one at random, who offered the same "Unlimited" products, and 24/7 live support that HostGator does, and here is the result:

Customer: Okay, may I please have the hostnames of your servers, so that I can do an rDNS search on the IP Addresses to find out the Data Centres myself?

SupportTeam: ok, hold on please

SupportTeam: Hostname of our server is num20.[removed for privacy].com

Customer: Okay, after a quick search online, I have found the answer to my question.

SupportTeam: ok

Customer: Just for your reference, your server is located in the NOCSTER Data Centre. Which is http://nocster.net/ or http://burst.net

Customer: Thank you for your time.
