Default WHMCS billing system

I put this in "off topic" since it really dosn't have anything to do with HG.

I got my Autopilot account setup soon after I received the email for my reseller acount. I actually had HG set it up for me as I read a few people mention a few troubles with proper installation, and 30 bucks to make sure it is done right seems like a good deal to me--after all, it's the main interface for me getting paid.

I used it a few days and got a little frustrated with it. the 2.x.x build is a bit dated and there was too much negative buzz about the 3.0 version so I started shopping for a alternative.

I came across WHMCompleteSolutions and liked the interface, and could live with the price. They offer a 15 day trial period, just enough time for you to install it and see if you can tweak it how you like it.

It integrates well, uses smarty templating and is a bit more user friendly in the backend. the forums are good as well.

I am not trying to take away from Autopilot at all. It's a good system, it jsut didn't do it for me. Just pointing out my satisfaction with a alternate product.

I now use WHMCS on my website since I have change my server and could not be happier about it.

The best thing I have seen about it is the translation files. You have a drop down box to change languages whenever you want in order or client area.

Importing all my billing client from WHMAP to WHMCS was not bad at all with the import script they offer but I had to import manually all Paypal subscription numbers. Not a bad thing and was done in about an hour.

I just need to get the template of my website to get intergrate in it and their you go!

I love the Configurable Option in the order forms so I could add dedicated server options and upgrade directly on the order and not offer in the addons section.

Seems to be running fine and no more high CPU load every hours by the Con jobs.

Anyone else using the same appz?

What is the attraction, the price is still fairly high.

That is an attraction. The 100 account limit was a bit small.

I found a reseller site that sells licenses for 144 bucks for a full lifetime license. The main site wants 164(?) I think. Or you could spend 14 a month.

I havnt gotton out of demo yet, I need to do it this week.

I love WHMCS... way better than AutoPilot...

It has billing and support together which is nice...

Matt is great for support when you're having problems with it as well.

After posting on the WMMCS forums, I had my answer: Unlimited accounts creation also. Answer was provided by Matt himself and not long after I have posted.
