1. Will the new hostgator control system replace WHMCS?
2. Will the new domain panel from HG connect to WHMCS?
3. Now it is only Enom that connects to WHMCS?
4. Do the WHMCS connect to my WHM panel?

Sorry many questions first time on the forum

No. They are not made for the same purpose(s).

Not before there is a module in WHMCS for that.

This would be unlikely to happen due to the amount of resources needed to compete with WHMCS. I did however, hear rumors that cPanel are looking into creating their own billing system much like WHMCS.

Zomex,

Your very correct indeed. In a podcast I was apart of for cPanel along with SpamExperts, that was mentioned however I wouldnt expect to see that for several months atleast.

Creating a system similar to WHMCS takes years of development and programming. As it stands now, WHMCS basically dominates the market when it comes to managing hosting clients and so forth. There is other solutions out there, but WHMCS is the most widely used for its customization friendly layouts.

I agree, in order for cPanel to compete they'd need to support other control panels which may not happen. Even then WHMCS is constantly being updated and specialize in the software rather than running a control panel also.

We shouldn't worry about it. Rest assured that everyone will be informed in case changes will occur between HostGator and WHMCS.

It is just bad marketing to go out with something and never launch it.
