Whats wrong with ftp rate

I'm using server 70.87.90.194 and over the last couple of days the rate of download/upload is only 0.01 - 0.10. It's taking 35mins to transfer 300k

Would appreciate some info on this as can't get a response from normal server contacts

Look at your system and figure out what is wrong on your end. 90% of ftp problems are at your end or your network, not on the server. Plus servers have 400 users on them, if there was a server ftp problem, HG would get 50 calls about it.

I'm noticing this today - along with around 6 other posts for the same issue, I doubt it's on my end. FTP won't even connect now. I barely got through uploading the new WordPress.

httpd seems fine, all green in status, memory and load are also reasonable.

My only thought was the new wordpress came out several hours ago, maybe everyone's upgrading at once
