Hello,
I wanted to know if it would be possible to use Visual Studio 2008 to create my website and then upload it to the Web Hosting Business Plan option? Thanks for everyone's time in advance. |

It looks like you should be able to when I did a search on it. You may need to FTP the files up if it doesn't have an FTP client built in.
Also, when we have had people use stuff like MS Office to make sites it creates a sub directory for some files which you would want to upload also or it won't show properly. Not sure if this does it too but just in case. Also, also If you use any .net code you would need a dedicated Windows server as our Linux shared accounts do not support .net.

Thanks for the response.
I definitely won't be using MS Office to create my websites. Maybe to double check my grammar and spelling for the text but thats about it. I guess I won't be using .Net code because 1) I don't have the money to pay for a dedicated server 2) What I have in mind I think a dedicated server at least to start would be too much. Thanks again for the help GatorSteveN. |
