webalizer country stats

Hello to everybody,

is it my problem or all webalizer stats on Hostgator don't show country stats?

It seems this is due to the fact that dns lookup isn't enalbed at all for web stats (normal webalizer does country stats by looking reverse lookup of visitors IP: .uk, .no etc.).

The strange thing is that I also tried to set up my installation of webalizer (donwload the statically compiled version from webalizer site) but also this one is not (reverse) resolving IP into domain names...

I even downloaded a patched version of webalizer: geolizer (that I suggest to take a look at) basing its country stats on the geoIP library. This also is a statically compiled binary but when executed from a cron script just exits without any warning or error...

Does anybody have any suggestion?

Webalizer works fine for me .... but then i dont really care about country stats. Hey by the way geobytes offers amazing services, i see you got a analyzer .... do tell me how it turns out if you manage to get it working.
