Default Re: Washington dc data center

Hello Pomakk!

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any data centers located in Washington. However, we do provide a service that will cache your site on servers around the world and direct your visitors to the closest server.

HostGator recently partnered with CloudFlare, a company that will cache your site on servers around the world. When someone visits your site, they will be directed to the server nearest them instead of our server here in Texas. This can increase the speed of your site while decreasing the amount of resources used by your site. Please email support@hostgator.com to have one of our experienced system administrators install CloudFlare for you. More information about CloudFlare can be found here: http://support.hostgator.com/article...-is-cloudflare

I hope this helps!
