I know this has been mentioned that a security vunerability exists in phpbb below version .11 but now its alot more serious an issue.

There is a worm which uses google to find all forums running phpbb which are running affected versions, and once it finds one it will gain access to your server and delete all .php .htm .asp .jsp files.

As this is a worm you have a lot more chance of being affected as up until now you would have needed someone to deliberately target your site. Now its automated there is a lot higher risk.

Oh yeah a few of my friends sites have been ruined because of this one.
