VPS Service Excellent

Just a note to those who are considering HG for VPS hosting.

I have been a client on shared hosting here for around four years now. A few bumps in the road--but nothing that was not quickly resolved with the excellent support available--at any hour of the day or night. When developing a few new sites a couple months ago, it became apparent that shared was not going to work--my gator283 server had just plain reached its capacity and heavy users on other accounts were not going to go away.

The jump was made. It really took less than a day for the transfer to be made and my private nameservers (attached to a Godaddy domain registration) to propagate. Since then, we have been through a number of configuration issues, all of which the chat and live support have handled or directed me to get clear quickly. Some great advice for fine tuning the WHM and services came with my solutions--all making my experience and capacities much better.

Right now, I am only using Level 3--and it truly has no comparison to the response times of conventional shared. VPS here is scalable, and can be moved upward as need arises. This will be my total solution until such time as I will need to move something up to dedicated. Thanks HG!
