Default VPS level 9 vs Standard dedicated

You get a Standard Dedicated server for the same price as a VPS level 9 incl. cpanel.
What would be the reason to choose the VPS solution?

(I notice that the VPS has higher bandwidth, but we are not even close to these values)

Default Re: VPS level 9 vs Standard dedicated

I would definitely recommend the Standard Dedicated server over the VPS Level 9 if you are ordering new service. The VPS Level 9 would be a better solution in some cases where you are an existing lower level VPS customer and want a smooth upgrade process while maintaining your existing IP addresses and settings.
