VPS at HostGator
Why HOSTGATOR don't have a VPS plan? I will need one.

I have a shared host at HG and I need upgrade to a VPS. I want to continue with HG if have a VPS hosting plan.

They have considered VPS in the past but the last I saw there were no immediate plans to offer it. They sometimes have an unmanaged dedicated server available for about the cost of a VPS but you would need to contact sales to see if it is available at this time. I would not expect VPS any time soon.

Thats a real shame, as I too would be very much interested in a VPS. I have a mate that runs one at Slice Host, however not being a coder, anything unmanaged could be both fatal and very painful. So if HG, were to offer a fully managed VPS, that would be awesome indeed.
