Hello,
I was wondering if Plesk is better than CPanel for some reason: - I need to host 25 websites - I'm always adding new sites moving databases etc. - I don't need things like Reseller, Clients access (out of ftp) or whatever Thanks for any Hints Andrea |

Hello,
This is a great question and one that comes up quite frequently as of late. Which control panel will suit you best really depends largely on personal preference. I myself prefer the cPanel/WHM, however a lot of people are extremely excited to be able to use Plesk 10 on their VPS now. Either option really would suit you just fine in this case based on the information you've provided. I've included demos below so you can check each control panel out. https://plesk10.demo.parallels.com:8443/ << Plesk 10 user/pass for plesk demo = admin/panel http://74.52.116.98:2082/login?user=...ss=accountpass << cPanel http://74.52.116.98:2086/login?user=...s=accountpass1 << WHM (included with cPanel) It really does largely just depend on which you prefer using day to day. You'll find that each offer very similar features however. Should you have any further questions, please do let us know!

cPanel and Plesk are easily the two most dominant control panels on the web hosting market. Both have been dramatically improved over the years, which ultimately makes this battle even more tightly contested.
But if you would ask me, I would go for cPanel due to high loading time and it is more integrated |

I have gone through serious setup and migration issues with Plesk, versions 9, 10, and the latest, 10.2. You are also forced into using the command line for many setups, such as upgrading PHP, Apache, etc., which can be done fairly easily and conveniently in cPanel (via WHM's EasyApache feature). The reason most hosts offer cPanel is that it's the best period.
Also, Plesk's tech support is treacherous. I had a Plesk server elsewhere for months, and never got a single, solitary, understandable and useful response from Plesk support. cPanel is smart, fast, and totally savvy about the Mac OS, Windows, and, of course, Linux. There is no comparison. |

cPanel/WHM hands down.
