I 2nd that! VOIPo ROCKS!
![]() I didn't know what to expect, but with a 30-day money back guarantee, I signed up for 1 year and said what the heck... The adapter came in the mail a couple days later. I plugged my phone into the adapter, and the adapter into the router, and I had a dial tone and was making calls less than 1 minute after I opened the box! Make sure you set your Quality of Service setting on your router to ensure the phone service gets 256 KB/sec. minimum to ensure crystal clear connections, especially if you do a lot of downloading or streaming video ... The FCC requires most wireline or wireless companies to port your phone number to another provider, and I'm doing just that Monday morning! Screw the phone company. For $99/year, VOIPo will save me over $500+ and that's not counting all the extra gabbing I can do with family now that long distance is no longer an issue. My phone bill was $55/month and $10/month just for Caller ID alone --- puh-LEAZE! |
