So what are the pros and cons for Virtuozzo, the control panel offered with the entry level plan for the new VPS?
Do I really need cPanel ? I don't know if I need it... I am quiet experienced with Linux and servers but I still like this web interface... |

Virtuozzo is the control panel for managing the entire system, not for managing individual domains the way cpanel does.
When you just have virtuozzo you will still need to know how to fully manage a LAMP environment (linux, apache, mysql, php). Most users will still need to use cpanel/whm unless you know your way around linux pretty well. |

![]() Note: I bought that VPS to learn, not to do business. I tell you it is very cost efficient than enrolling to a university. |

After you change your hostname you will have to type this in from the command line: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
This will reactivate your cPanel trial. |
