My request for SSH with ability to use wget was handled within the hour, and once I was connected, I found the performance in terms of unzipping files astonishing.

30s to unzip a 1GB zip archive of 4600 files - the same file took 4 minutes to unzip on my current DreamHost account and 1m55s to unzip on my desktop machine (which has a AMD 3500+, 2GB RAM, 74GB Raptor)

I do wonder what sort of specs these servers have... gator221.hostgator.com
