I have had multiple hosting accounts with HG since 06/2005. Do yourself a favor and host with HG.

If you have a burning desire to waste time and money, try another host similar in price...but you'll be left with downtime, bad support and in turn, a struggling website.

Sure, HG has the occasional hiccup on their servers...but everyone will have that. I have had sites hosted by several hosting companies, and there is a reason I had them ALL changed to HG.

I can only speak on the Shared hosting plans, but if support and performance are anything like what I've had so far the last 2 years, then you'll be in good shape no matter what hosting plan you select.
