I would just like to say that I am very pleased with the degree of service and support Hostgator provides their customers.

We have been hosted by Hostgator for about nine months now, and we have never had any serious downtime issues because of the server itself and any of our questions and problems are usually handled very promptly and thoroughly.

Also, I wanted to mention that when our data was erased by some strange occurrance that I have not fully figured out yet, Hostgator was there to restore it right up for us. We were pretty worried that it was going to get overwritten by their weekly backups (we were scrambing on a Saturday night to get everything going and their backups run Sunday morning), but Hostgator was there to get it done just in time and it saved us from doing a LOT of work over again!

After having dealt with a whole bunch of hosts in the past, Hostgator has been the best of them all by far!

Your on g30 which has never had data loss as far as I recall. It sounds like one or more of your scripts or even your password may have been exploited. I would recommend upgrading all 3rd party scritps your using ASAP, and making sure you have a secure pw.
