Very happy generally, but had a rather frustrating online chat to tech support today.

I'm sorry to hear you had a poor experience using our live chat. Would you happen to have the chat ID? If not, could you PM me your IP, which would allow me to locate the chat and see how we could have improved the way the chat was handled.

Sorry, can't pm. It's probably because I registered this account before I actually became hostgators customer. Chat Id 3244677.
Don't take me wrong, I have used the chat facility once more in the past, and was very helpful, but the issue was allot simpler too. |

Are you happy with us currently? Do you have any outstanding issues I can help you with currently? If you ever have a bad chat experience I'd love if you could email me the transcript for review. We are a growing company and with that we hire many new employees that start out as chat techs. We put them all through a 2-3 week training program and require them to pass tests. Unfortunately tests are not the same as real life experience and many of them don't cut it once they hit the floor. We fire anyone who has a poor rating. Ratings are given by actual customers and directly affects their job, pay, and promotion at hostgator. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks!!

I am happy with hg! Just ran into another problem and chat was very helpful. Still have not got an answer though for the original problem I started this thread. |
