On the cPanel there is a section for generating openPGP keys - I've generated a public/private key -- but I am unsure of several things;
1. How do I use this with my outlook? 2. Is the php public/private key the same thing as a digital signature? If not, is it widely recongised to be "as good as" a digital signature? 3. If I use the openPGP with outgoing email and my reciepient doesn't - will they be able to read the email? 4. Other than openPGP - does the Cpanel generate digital signatures for use with outlook? Thank you for your help. |

1. I'm not an outlook user but I would guess you need a plugin for outlook

Thank you for your help with this, its been puzzling my brain what openPGP is meant to do and how it works with my mail, but I guess I'll just leave it for now.
Thank you anyway for your help |

It's just a form of encryption with 2 keys one public one private people encrypt their mail to you with your public key but only you can decrypt it with your private key same thing the other way round. Sorry I could not help more but I have next to no experience with Outlook.
