Usability Improvement - Logins/Support

I've used a lot of hosts and they all have an easy to find login on the home page. Netsol allows you to manage everything from ONE account manager. I have been struggling for days with my account, often with logins.

Also the support pages need a robust search, I've been setting up sites for 15 years and most of the stuff I had to wade through I didn't understand and couldn't find simple info like "HOw to transfer a domain" and had to keep calling for support.

Also, I set up a WP blog and checked "off email me a copy" and I never got the copy.

My welcome pages did not have enough info for me to do anything effectively. They all had small pieces of info, but not all the info I needed. I had to call or search through several emails.

On the upside, support is great! I just shouldn't need to call 8-10 times for one domain transfer and one site setup.

I'll keep using HG because they do answer the phone and gosh are they nice!

For someone that has been setting up domains for 15 years I am surprised you had such difficulty and had to call on support for such simple things

I apologize for the trouble. I don't know if you've seen it, but we very recently (as in: yesterday) launched our new knowledge base.

It's available at http://support.hostgator.com and has a very good search. We're constantly adding and revising content and we're going to be promoting the site more once we've worked out a couple of the bugs and made some more improvements. To help test our search, I put in your search term and a highly relevant article was the second result.
