Url & Forum - ?

While I work on my actual site, is there a way to set my main domain pointed to my forum, so users aren't staring at a white screen.

So instead of...

Mydomain.com = points to my main domain

have it set so...

Mydomain.com = points to my forum temporarily

In addition to the url I already have it set as...

Mydomain.com/forums

I just want my main domain to point to my forum temporarily.

Cpanel > Domains > Redirects

Another "redirect" question, before I set it...

1. Does it matter Permanent/Temporary?

I only want "myurl.com" to point to "myurl.com/forums" temporarily so I'll go ahead and choose that, but...

2. Once I want "myurl.com" back to pointing to itself, instead of the forums, how would I remove the redirect?

You want to choose 'temporary' since you're only doing this temporarily.

Once you're done you just remove/delete the redirect.
