Uploading Dreamweaver Files

Hi,

I just purchased hostgator baby plan as a complete beginner. I have dreamweaver, and made a simple home page. How do I put the file online so I could view it on my webpage?

By the way, I use dreamweaver CS3.

You need to set up a "Site" in DreamWeaver. You set it up so that it points to a set of files/folders on your computer and a set of files/folders on HG's servers. Then you create your site locally and then push a button to "put" the files to the server (or "get" them from the server.)

It's not quite as simple as that, of course, but that's the general idea and it's really quite easy to set up. Check DW's help files. You should find all the info you need to get it set up.
