Question Upgrading + New Domains

https://secure.hostgator.com/upgrade.php
So after I submit this...

1. How long till my plan is upgraded to the one I want next?

2. Next, do I purchase new domain names in my cpanel?(I'm only going with hostgator)

Thanks gators!

Hello,

It really depends what account you are upgrading to and how large our sales queue is. If you PM me the ticket I will take care of it right away for you. You do not have to purchase a new domain if you register, however if you wish to purchase a new domain through HostGator/Enom you can do so here: http://www.hostgator.com/domains .

PM me if you have any further questions, I'll be glad to help.

Alright, I'm upgraded!

So to purchase my new domain, I use that link above right?

Yes, you can purchase the domains using the link Josh gave. You can purchase domains at any registrar and would only need to change the nameservers to the ones you use on your account. I have domains with NameCheap, GoDaddy, and Wild West Domains and have no problems with any of them.

ok, I'm gonna be registering mine tonite after work!

Thanks guys.

EDIT...

in my cpanel, under the stats it says...

"Hosting package: Hatchling" even though I just purchased the baby plan.

How long does it take to show up in the stats...my upgraded plan from hatchling to baby?
