Upgrading or cancelling a OLD dedicated server

hi,
what is the required notice period for cancelling a old dedicated server, or what is the procedure to upgrade it to a one which are currently available ?

One of my customer would like to go for one or the other option in this month.

You can cancel it at anytime because it's not a long term contract.

I'd let sales know though that you want something more up-to-date-- they may be able to help you get a deal and migrate.

thanks, will it be ok, if i inform HG 7 days in advance to get the box cancelled and stop it from billing again on due date.
