Greetings,
I have been with HG as a reseller for probably a year now and been satisfied with hardware and service. I am considering the possibility of upgrading to a dedicated server. I would like to hear from anyone who has allready made this move to give me some of there thoughts on this process and which dedicated server they would recommend. I would also like to know from HG whether i should expect the same level of support as i currentley do? Are the dedicated servers managed and what difference should i expect from a dedicated? With a dedicated can i create reseller plans with there own WHM etc? What stats come with the dedicated? Are there any extra costs involved not listed on your website? I have been satisfied with my reseller plan and would like to know if i can expect business as usual by moving to a dedicated. Thanks in advance Mike |

Cpanel has the same stats as normal, awstats, webalizer, etc. Dedicated are fully managed and we will take care of all the hardware and software and keep things updated and security patched. If anything goes wrong we will be able to help you get it back up. There are no hidden costs unless you want something custom, then just email sales@hostgator.com for a price quote. (Aka, more hard drive space or a certain program that would need a license cost.) Any other questions just shoot an email to sales@hostgator.com and you will get a much quicker answer. I have been having trouble trying to get email through to HG
I have now sent 4 different emails using four different email addresses including my ISP and HotMail adress to send them and getting nothing through to you. I have also logged 2 seperate tickets in your "cerberus Helpdesk" with nothing happening (no ticket number and no ticket to track). Something needs to be looked into at your end as my email is sending okay to everyone else. Mike |
