For the life of me I can't get this to take.
I'm pretty sure I've followed all the steps correctly, but my php.info file still says PHP 5.1. Is there something specific I'm supposed to do? Here are my steps: 1. Installed PHP and MySQL through Virtuozzo 2. Created a new repo file that connects to dev.centos.org 3. "yum update" through SSH to download update packages 4. Restart Server 5. Same PHP 5.1 Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

found the solution here:
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/PHP_5.1_To_5.2 for some reason it made all the difference to have this line included "includepkgs=php*" |

If you have Cpanel/WHM you can also do it by using their interface.
WHM -> Software -> Easy Apache And following the steps provided there. |
