If I take the smallest reseller plan and sell it. Do I have to upgrade plan or just order a new one and combine with the first one? It would be better for me if I could order a new smallest plan then upgrade to larger, because larger plans offer smaller bandwith in the proportion to disk space.

If you run out of bandwidth/space then you can get a second reseller account or upgrade your current reseller account.

Is it any difference in practice?

Upgrading is cheaper than getting a new one, and only takes a few minutes for them to do once they see your ticket.

If you upgrade your plan then you will see all of your accounts in your WHM. If you purchase an additional plan then you will not have all of your sites in one place. Chances are the new plan would be on a different server (which does have its benefits.)

So if I purchase an additional plan than I will have two WHMs and two WHMCSs?
What happens when if upgrade my plans to "dimanond" and I still need more? Then I probably have to purchase a dedicated server? Why are disk spaces and bandwiths not in the same proportion at all reseller plans? i.e. alluminium (250/24=10,41) and diamond (700/100=7). If I first order alluminium plan and offer to my customers 1GB disk space and 10,4GB bandwith and then upgrade to "gold" I have to reduce my offer to 1GB disk space and only 7,5GB bandwith. This is not good for resellers business. |
