HOWEVER, I think your main difficulty may be some confusion about addon domains and addon hosting services. Two entirely different things.

You can host as many ADDON DOMAINS as you wish for free on HG's hosting service. But the domain registrations arent free, of course, and neither are some HG SERVICE ADDONS.
I begin to understand ... Still, I have to study things ...

1).
But I am asking, what is then the difference between "Hatchling Plan" and "Baby Plan" ? Only hosting several sites ? (I avoid the term "domain" because this was the only thing who made me to choose "Baby Plan" ... I didn't think it was like that).
On freewebhosting sites (I don't know if I can write the name of those sites) I have something like this:
- www.mysite.com/anothersite2 ...etc ...
and one of them have a lot of space and a pretty good speed.

(of course that "mysite" is chosen not by me but by the site - in consequence -> an inconvenient !)

2)
I understand here I must do the same thing (only the speed is like a supplement, practically ...) ... or maybe there are still other solution, like EarlyOut was saying ...

3)
Question :On a "Hatchling Plan" (3 $ less per month) it was possible to have:

- www.mysite.com/anothersite2 ...etc ... ?

If the answer is yes then I believe I could regret not having "Hatchling Plan" .

------
4) Instead a PS

Maybe for US or Canada this "pédanterie" looks bizarre ... but here 110 $ represent half of my teacher salary ... I present this like an excuse for having insisted so long on this "problem" ...

...
Anyway, I want to stay to HostGator now, after one year to prolong "the contract" (buy for another year), and so on ... because I like it, if it was it only for speed, and probably for safety (bye the way, 2 secondary questions could be made here:

a)
After 1 year could I pass to "Hatchling" ?

b) If I don't pass after 1 year to "Hatchling" (and stay here, on "Baby Plan") what is exactly the thing that really make the difference (because, for the moment, the "thing" relating to unlimited domains is "kind of disappointing" in my case ... But who knows, maybe I find that "Baby Plan" is really superior to "Hatchling Plan" )

5)
Still .. a PS

My main goal was for a site with an attached forum. But this is very restrictive (I'm talking about the name of the site ... the domain, who is related to my country ...).
I thought it was a possibility to make here another sites (only is hilarious to "combine" two names who have nothing in common ...)

Well, will see ...

6) Excuse-me for another question: is now possible to change the name of the domain (but not through Control Panel - I understand that is not a change for everything, is not functioning everywhere ... it is a warning too on that page ...).
I'm thinking to change to a name related (somehow) to my name ... simply to my name ... Maybe is impossible but in any case I would like to think seriously about that (I already think a lot for this domain name ...)

The Hatchling plan is Hostgator's single domain plan (i.e., the only one that does NOT allow you to host unlimited addon or parked domains). If you're only intending to have one domain (such as mysite.com) with subfolders (such as mysite.com/forum/) or even subdomains (such as forum.mysite.com) then the Hatchling plan would meet your needs. However, you can't host multiple domains such as mysite.com and myforum.com under that single domain plan.

Regardless of what Hostgator plan you choose, there is no restriction on your choice of a primary domain. You can use any available domain name and any domain registrar. You just have to specify Hostgator's DNS servers in your domain registration setup.

Hope that helps to answer most of your concerns. Let us know if we've missed any.

What it is in red (and blue) sounds like magic (if I don't pay plus ! ...)
There is some links where I can read more about the thing ? (about how to do this ...)

Underlined : practically the same thing ... Some Links to help tutorials, documentation ... (my domain exists already .... so I would try to find out "domain registration setup" ... if a possibility still exists ...)

Thank again !

I really don't understand what you are asking or stating, but let's see f this helps.

Do you want to host one website? If so, you need a Hatchling Plan (or higher).

Do you want to host more than one website? If so you need a Baby Plan (or higher).

For each website you want to host, you must purchase a domain name. They are not free.

So I understand it is impossible (for me) this scenario below- no matter what settings I make in Control Panel (without paying another domain) :

- I write in my web browser www.roumanie-site.com and it will be open the main site (located in public_html)

- I write www.julian-site1.com and it will open the site which have ALL files in the subfolder julian-site1 (this folder would be in "public_html")

I recall I have a Baby Plan with only one domain, roumanie-site.com

-----

That says that HostGator is hosting (with a Baby Plan) an unlimited number of sites ... not domains ! ... For each new domain you must pay more...

Am I right ? ...

------

One more thing : on a Hatchling Plan you have 1 domain (like on Baby Plan too - because this is the reality ...)
My (main) site is : www.roumanie-site.com

Suppose I create a folder named forum. And there I upload a phpBB3 forum (like I did on free webhosting sites).
Does the forum works, having the link:
www.roumanie-site.com/forum ? (Hatchling Plan permits that ?)

And also I make a folder julian (in public_html too) and there I upload a little personal site.
Then www.roumanie-site.com/julian will be working ? I mean "Hatchling Plan" permits hosting multiple sites ? (I'm not talking about domains at all !)

Thanks a lot !

With the baby plan you can do what you describe using add-on domains in your cPanel if you register the julian-site1.com domain. That can be done with any registrar. You cannot do it unless you register the domain, however, with any account.

Yes. You can use unlimited domains to create sites but you must have the domains registered in order to use them.

You can do this with any account, Hatchling or Baby. In fact, you can have roumanie-site.com/forums or use the subdomain format of forums.roumanie-site.com.

That's the point ...
I've paid for Baby Plan but I use it as a Hatchling Plan (using slashes /////).
Next time, after 1 year, i'll know better ...

PS Using slashes (////) or points (.....)

I see you cannot edit your post after a while (I believe Edit Function - or whatever is the name on vBulletin - is disabled after 30 minutes). So I created a new post, because I must do a correction :

"Using slashes (////) or dots (.....)" - I believe this is the correct way ...

I must apologize for bothering so with these posts about domains, plans ... I'm only a beginner, yesterday I created/acquired my domain.

I'll try to read more Helps on the site ...

Thanks !
