Two whole years without problems

I don't think I've left a review of my experience with Hostgator before, and after two years with the company (I signed up in March 2003) I think I'm probably one of the relative old-timers - so it's about time I drop off a few thoughts.

There are always limitations to what any host can do, and I think any reasonable person understands that. I would never expect absolute perfection without any problems at all, and I have had a few minor issues over the years. However those have always been solved promptly and without lasting damage.

I will admit to being much less impressed with the support service than I was when I first signed up, however. The email replies are shorter and less informative, and I would prefer it if those replies were a little more personal, just as they were two years ago.

However that's a comparatively small price to pay for a service that I have so far found to be incredibly reliable; I can count on one hand the number of times that I have noticed my site being down for a prolonged period. Perhaps the server I'm on has just been lucky, but either way I'm very impressed.

Overall the price is right, the service is great, and barring some incredible, unseen circumstances, I hope to stick with Hostgator for quite some time.
