Trollbusters is a message board for message board, owners, admins, and mods a like to come discuss trolls on their forums. We are a private forum, but we are accepting new members. Please read all the guidelines before you register. Registers using a proxyserver will be denied and you have a to fill out a short questionaire before you can gain entrance to the full board. We offer Troll Discussions, Admin Power where you can discuss running your message board, Trollbusters Court, Arcade and tons of fun forums to post in. Come check us out.

Very disappointing that they are not accepting new registrations. I could really use that site as I run a parenting site and obviously safety for my members is #1 priority.

I did not recognize the name at first, but when I read "Oh....never mind" Gilda Radner came to mind. I loved to watch her on SNL, along with the rest of the cast.

The Wikipedia link _Sam_ posted leads to an incredible SNL reference--a list of, and info about, virtually all of the recurring characters (current cast excepted, for some reason), as well as a lot of other pertinent cross-references

Considering how much information is there, and how extensively cross-referenced and categorized, it seems to exude more "labor of love" than anything I've come across in the rest of Wikipedia.

Who knew SNL was more than a couple of lines in Wikipedia? It took a young 'un (_Sam_) to let us know.

Our new member registrations are back online. We do cater mostly to family/parenting sites. But everyone who administrates or moderates a message board is welcome to join regardless of your forums subject.

I was thinking about registering there now that I've seen this thread but I've got a question for you Jace. How come you don't take gmail addresses in the registration? I mean, I do have some old ones I could use but I'd rather not as gmail is what I always use now.

I registered for the forum - obviously to see if I'm on there as a 'troll', which I have no doubt more than a few flunkies here have submitted me as.

I run more than a few forums myself, and would never dream of submitting someone's name to an online witchhunt like that board.

It's basically an online pack of hounds baying for the blood or destruction of people who decide to speak their mind. All too frequently I've seen on boards I administer, boards I frequent and towards myself - the label of 'troll' being given because someone's not afraid to assertively discuss a topic such as religion, or race, or social predjudices.

I've been on the internet and using message boards for a long while, and NOT ONCE have I ever seen anyone who joins a message board solely to cause trouble. I've seen many times people who talk about things others don't want to talk about, and be 'shouted' down by groups of flunkies on forums like this who all follow each other when one expresses a dislike... but not once seen someone who joins solely to cause confrontation.

Doesn't seem ethical or righteous to label someone a troll simply because they like to talk about things other weak minded individuals can't stomach debating about.

Besides... trolls are mythical creatures who live under bridges and have horns so use the right words eh? Call it antagoniserbusters.org instead - at least the grammar would be correct.
