trojans on server/dedicated

wonder if any dedicated users have run scans and found possible trojans. if so, what was done to repair or delete.
I have a feeling the ones I found are mostly python breaks, but for future reference

If you suspect a virus please send in a support ticket to support@hostgator.com. All the servers are running linux and windows related trojans do not affect the server.

There are some good scanners but better to have us take a look.

I don't believe there are any trojans for *nix system - a couple of JS exploits, but not actually trojans.
