Default Transferring from 1and1

Question:

I have a domain/hosting with 1and1. I've changed nameservers to hostgator and everything seems to be setup correctly, however the web server path of the domain is still 1and1's. (i.e. kunden/6/home/etc.) instead of the /public_html of HG. So anytime I go to mydomain.com it gathers all the files from 1and1's web space still instead of HG's. Anyone know how to change that? I can't see any options in 1and1's control panel to change it. Haven't been able to get ahold of their CS yet.

How long ago did you change the nameservers? Sometimes it can take a couple days for the change to propagate across the internet. During that time you may be pointed to either the old server or the new server.

It's pointing to Hostgator for me. I'd give it a little bit and check it again, if you still point to 1 and 1 by tomorrow send a support ticket to Host Gator and see what they say.
