Transfer failure

Hi all,

I recently attempted to transfer a domain over to host gator from my old host.

However, I didn't realize that the emails had to match for it to work. Will I be charged even though the transfer fails?

thanks, i submitted a ticket yesterday to sales but have yet to receive a reply. I just want to transfer the domain and cancel my old hosting asap so I wont go into the next billing cycle there.

i've never been charged at any company for transfers that didn't go through. they should refund your money, but if they don't right away for some reason, contact them and i'm sure they will.

The transfer service is a free service, you shouldn't need to pay for anything.

he was, i believe, referring to the annual renewal fee for his domain.
