Transfer Domain Q

Hi,

I just completed the order form to transfer my domain, and I have received the Domain Transfer Request email.

Once this is complete, I plan to create a Reseller Hosting Account.

I'm just a little confused.

1. eNom will be my new registrar, right?

2. Then what role does HostGator play in all this?

3. Where will I go to manage my domain? eNnom or HostGator?

4. I will be using my own (private) NS once my Reseller Hosting Acct. is created, until then,
4a. what NS will be associated with my Domain?
and
4b. will I encounter any problems changing my NS?

5. Would it be easier if I go ahead and create my Reseller Hosting Acct. now, during my domain transfer process, so my private NS can be setup the way I want from the start?

Thanks! I've really gotta get a grasp of this procedure (domains and registrars, NS and hosting), so that I don't sound like a dimwit to my clients.

BTW, last but not least

6. Is DNS and NS the same?
