I am needing to transfer 3 additional domains as addons into my existing HostGator business account. If I use the transfer form, will they properly redirect? It doesn't provide me with an option of indicating I am an existing customer. Or, do I need to contact sales and do the transfers manually?
Thanks! tbone

Hello,
Normally, our transfer services would require a small fee for doing this type of transfer. However, it can be done through FTP/cPanel as well. Basically, you would go into cPanel, add the domains as addon domains, and that will take care of all the back end direction-type stuff. When you get the files transferred over, and everything's all set and ready to go, just simply change the nameservers for your domain names, and after a short period for the entire Internet to adjust to your change, your sites would be up and running. If you need any further assistance about this issue, then you're more than welcome to utilize our live chat system! Our extremely helpful Junior Administrators are here to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in real time. |
