How to transfer domain to hosting?

Hi there

Sorry I am new to this
I actually bought godaddy.com for domain a couple of weeks ago and at the same time, I wanted to find a hostgator so I came in here and got it.

basically after I registered a domain name in godaddy as well as hostgator, it was no problem becasue i went to www.mysitenumber1.com/cpanel and it would ask me to log in my username and password

However, I am having a bit of trouble here becasue today, I went to buy my 2nd domain name in godaddy.com and I also went to my www.mysitenumber2.com/panel and it does not work like number 1?

I checked the Name Server in godaddy and realised that it was not Hostgator so I changed it to exactly what it was in www.mysitenumber1.com but it still did not work. The change was made 1/2 hr ago, is it becasue I need to wait to be activited for 1 day or something?

Finally, I went to log in to: https://secure.hostgator.com/billing to see my Domain status. I am using the BABY unlimited domain plan and I ONLY see 1 domain active under the status of "My Sites"

So what do i need to do to keep my 2nd domain name running? My first domain is working perfectly well but I need to know what I did wrong for the 2nd time so that I do not commit it again in the 3rd time, 4th time and so on.
If any answers and help will be greatlt appreciated as I am new to this

Yes, give DNS some time.

Yes, thats because you only have 1 account.. that wont change when you add a domain. its the same cPanel for all your domains (primary, addon etc)
