I'm on a baby croc plan atm and am thinking about upgrading to a reseller plan.
I've got a .com.au domain that I'd like to transfer to hostgator. Before I do, I'd like to clarify the process; 1. Upgrade my plan to reseller. 2. In WHM control panel 'Add DNS Zone'. All I need is the domain name and IP of my hostgator account. 3. Edit DNS Zone - enter the name servers. It's the Record types 'A', 'MX' and CNAME that I'm unsure about. It looks fairly straightforward from the example I've seen from the demo WHM cpanel. Perhaps too easy 4. Login to my .au domain registry and change the name servers to the hostgator servers. Is this the process for a seamless domain transfer? It almost seems to easy. Have I missed anything? |

Actually in WHM you would just use the create a new account to set it up, it does all the DNS for you.
thanks, Ben |
