Default transfer between accounts/servers
how would i be able to transfer files from my existing server to an account at hostgator without having to download and upload?

You could use FXP client so the transfer is between servers. Then setup email accounts, mysql etc.

yep just what fuzz said! I would recomment FlashFXP. Incase you don't know what FXP is, just like FTP but you can connect to 2 servers side by side.
